THEFT
A black smartphone, valued at $200, was stolen from a backpack at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, between 4 and 5 p.m. Jan. 20.
A red walker with a seat and handbrakes, valued at $150, was reported stolen from a laundry room at The Courts, 195 W. Puetz Road, at 12:05 p.m. Jan. 25. The walker was reportedly stolen sometime within the past month.
A purse containing house keys and other miscellaneous items was stolen from a locked car in the parking lot at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., between 1:05 and 1:10 p.m. Jan. 25. The unknown suspect(s) gained entry by breaking the driver's side rear window of the car. The value of the purse and broken window is estimated at $150. Police have a description of two possible suspects.
A license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 100 block of West Centennial Drive between 11 a.m. Jan. 25 and 10 a.m. Jan. 26.
A 58-year-old Cudahy man is wanted for shoplifting two Leatherman tools, valued at $70 each, at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 9 a.m. Jan. 26. The suspect left the store before he could be detained for police.
A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $39 of items at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting two pairs of sunglasses, valued at $56, at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at 3 p.m. Jan. 27.
A 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting a bottle of perfume after she was seen hiding it in her purse at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at 4:05 p.m. Jan. 28.
A 1996 New Holland Skid Loader, valued at $25,000, along with a Pro-Tech 10-inch snow pusher box, valued at $3,000, were stolen from a parking lot in the 10000 block of South 27th Street between Jan. 20 and Jan. 27.
A 35-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for stealing motorcycle parts, valued at $4,275, and a gold chain, valued at $500, from a residence in the 6900 block of South Timber Ridge Lane at 8:40 p.m. Jan. 30.
ASSAULT
A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested and taken into custody for battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after he broke through an apartment door and physically assaulted a 22-year-old woman in the 8600 block of South Ventana Drive at 2:10 a.m. Jan. 30. The suspect was also issued a citation for possession of marijuana after police discovered a plastic bag of THC in his right front pocket during his arrest.
DRUG POSSESSION
An 18-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after K9 Bronco found a pipe used to smoke THC in the driver-side door pocket in the 8600 block of South Orchard View Lane at 5:35 p.m. Jan. 27.
A 17-year-old South Milwaukee boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking /possession of intoxicants during a traffic stop for a headlamp violation in the 100 block of West Rawson Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 27.
A 32-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for shoplifting pliers at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 28.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
A 29-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for operating with prohibited alcohol content and speeding in the 1200 block of East Rawson Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 26. His blood alcohol content was 0.16.
A 34-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for operating with prohibited alcohol content after he was found asleep in his car that was parked at 27th Street and Oakwood Road at 1 a.m. Jan. 28. His BAC was 0.15.
A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for driving with prohibited alcohol content after she was involved in accident at 10th Street and Rawson Avenue at 7 a.m. Jan. 29. Her BAC was 0.10.
ACCIDENTS
A 39-year-old Oak Creek woman was taken to the hospital with a possible neck injury after her car was rear-ended in the 1300 block of West Ryan Road at 7:25 a.m. Jan. 25. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 39-year-old Oak Creek woman, was cited for inattentive driving.
OTHER
A 23-year-old Hartland man was arrested and cited for possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle and unsafe lane deviation after he flashed his lights at another car, cut in front of the car and then slammed on his brakes in the 100 block of West Rawson Avenue at 11 p.m. Jan. 28.
Oak Creek police responded to three domestic violence incidents and assisted with 16 rescue calls and five fire department calls between Jan. 24 and Jan. 30.
