Albert and Carmella Amendola of Oak Creek celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Nov. 12, 2011, with family and friends at the home of one of their daughters.
The couple are the parents of Allen (Cindy) of East Hazelcrest, Ill., Christine (John) Rusin of Franklin, and Sue (Paul) Thompson of Franklin.
They are the grandparents of Gina, John, Christina (Mike), Scott (Ashley), Ricky and Crystal, joined by JR, Courtney and Joe. They are also the great-grandparents of Sierra, Grace, Carmella and Brianna.
They were engaged at a Christmas Eve Mass in 1945 and married Nov. 9, 1946.
